Iranian born Mehri Danielpour has been a resident of Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, Florida for 40 years. Her sculpture has been collected all over the world, including Brazil, Canada, Egypt,
Germany, Iran, Israel and Venezuela. Private collectors have commissioned Mehri for portrait busts. Among her commissions have been the Shah of Iran and Empress Farah, President Anwar Sadat of Egypt and baseball Hall of Famer, Henry “Hank” Aaron. In the United States, many of her bronzes are displayed in museums, private collections and public locations.
Her “Year of the Child” bronze sculpture, standing seven feet high, is located in West Palm Beach. Her life size bronze “The Joy Of Giving” stands at the front of the reception center of Reverend Robert Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral in Anaheim, California. Her work is also on permanent exhibition in the University of Indiana Museum. Mehri, is the mother of Grammy winning classical composer Richard Danielpour. Her daughter Debbie Danielpour Chapel is a screenwriter and is a professor at Boston University and teaches at Harvard University.
