Porsche celebrates its 70th year as one of the world’s top high performance sport car manufacturer. When Porsche first began their journey in 1948, they developed the 356 type No. 1 Roadster. Two years later, the 356 went into a series production due to its popularity. And in 1951 the 356 SL was victorious at the 24h of Le Mans, attracting international attention after just 4 years from the development of their first car.
Porsche from there continued to show the world out doing competitors in advancements, and setting the definition for what it meant to be a “high performance sports car”. With other victories from various races in; 1962, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1973, 1976, 1977, 1983, 1984, Porsche spent it’s time in the 1990’s adding more to their arsenal and in 1996, it’s 1 millionth car rolled off the assembly line. Now in 2018, Porsche will be exhibiting Mission E, their first all-electric vehicle, which began development in 2015, and is also working to prepare a special surprise for Formula E in 2019. So clearly for a manufacturer this intent on doing the most, we had to do something special at Porsche West Palm with a carnival style party. Local food vendors, racing simulators, wine, and puppies from Big Dog Ranch Rescue were there to party, and being the dealership that we are, we paid for the first 5 adoptions from the party.
