Teen Driving & Autocross

Sunday was a great day at Palm Beach International Raceway. Hot, but with a little breeze and occasional cloud cover.

A dozen teens spent the morning learning about safe driving through a video presentation followed by track time. Porsche West Palm Beach’s own professional race car driver, Freddy Rhemrev, taught the teens about emergency braking, speed control through corners and more. Pro race drivers Christian Dass and Jillian Fichter were on hand to give instruction and relate their experiences to the teens.

After lunch 15 Braman Motorcars owners got a chance to test their skills and their vehicles limits with timed runs on the Autocross course. The smiles were ear to ear as Club Braman members experienced the thrill of racing. Fastest speed through the course was around 52 seconds.
